About 2012 F.A.Q.

2012 F.A.Q. and The December 21, 2012 Wristband Campaign were created in the summer of 2009 by a then 21 year old college Business/Marketing student looking for a way to help pay off a large amount of student loan debt, but since then 2012 F.A.Q. has already developed into much more than originally first planned. The date December 21, 2012 was something that I first got interested in back in my later years of high school, I didn't know much about it I just knew that there was something that made me curious about the year 2012 due to there being so much information available about the date in books and online. I basically learned what I could about it at that period in time and then went on with my life not ever thinking about what the date really represented or really giving it any serious thought.
Since first learning about the date December 21, 2012 over the years I've steadily become more interested in the date for what it represents; it’s not in everyone’s lifetime that something as significant as a real life prophecy that could literally change the world as we know it happens. It was back during my sophomore year in college that I was trying think of something that I could do while at school that would help me to pay off some of my college loan debt but also something that could have some kind of positive impact on the world. At the same time I was also becoming interested again in the prophecy date December 21, 2012, and also other different spiritual, consciousness, quantum physics, etc... related subjects that all in one way or another matched up to what I was learning about while researching the date December 21, 2012. It wasn't until about half way through my junior year that I first had the idea that I could create a website where I could sell one thing that had the date December 21, 2012 on it as a way to help to pay off some of my student loan debts, but also at the same time help to raise a significant amount of awareness for what the date represents in the grand scheme of things as a cosmic shift in reality, ourselves, and the way that we live here on Earth. I was very interested in the subject and even more excited by the idea of creating my own website so I figured why not give it a shot.
The 2012 F.A.Q. website and The December 21, 2012 Wristband Campaign were launched in the summer of 2009. Since then I've turned 22 (turning 23 in March), graduated from Marist College with a major in Business/Marketing and a minor in Advertising, got out into the "real world", and continue learning about various different subjects and topics all pointing to one common theme: that we are living in a time period of change (both as a society and as a species) and that there is a lot more to the world and life than what the majority of humanity presently realizes. We live in a world run by global economics and rapidly developing technology. Theses two things alone, while being the very fabric of how we live as a society and culture, have caused us to forget the original connection that humans once had to nature and the planet. Everyone is too busy worrying about how to survive in the system that we know as society to remember the deeper meaning to being here in the first place, to be alive and be happy while being alive. I believe that this date has been passed down throughout history through different cultures and traditions as a way to help people remember, and I really do believe that the date December 21, 2012 represents some kind of important change that is going to happen within ourselves, the Earth, and our place in the universe at large within our lifetime.
Since launching 2012 F.A.Q. and The December 21, 2012 Wristband Campaign I've had some time to really think about what I wanted to do with 2012 F.A.Q. and my original goal of being able to have some sort of positive impact on the world. Now that I'm all done with school I've had the time explore my original intentions that I had, and my focus has shifted to really turn what I've done with 2012 F.A.Q. and The December 21, 2012 Wristband Campaign into a real world global movement for planetary change in our understanding of reality and what the date December 21, 2012 represents. Something like this has never been attempted before, but that doesn't mean it can't happen. Every action has a resulting action to it, and 2012 F.A.Q. is my action that I hope will help to change the world as a result. This might sound like a big task for one person to handle or even crazy, but I wouldn't have come this far if I didn't believe in my original idea that doing something as simple as wearing an awareness wristband could have such a large impact on the world (see The 100th Monkey Effect and The Global Consciousness Factor). This is my ultimate vision for what I've started here with 2012 F.A.Q., The December 21, 2012 Wristband Campaign, and the collective "Global Movement For Planetary Change": to literally change the world.
